At Ends in E Acres, guests will experience the healing and restorative power of nature on our peaceful and private grounds. Guided forest therapy walks take place in our mature forest along groomed trails, beside a spring-fed creek, inviting you to experience nature using all five senses. Forest therapy fosters a relationship with nature and helps you slow down, relax, and rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit. Research shows that forest bathing can lower blood pressure, stabilize blood sugar, and improve mood. It also helps reduce cortisol levels and inflammation, ease anxiety and depression, and support better sleep concentration, and creativity!

 

In addition to forest therapy walks, retreats include many different modalities of mental wellness, stress relief, personal growth, and mindfulness. Each retreat is designed to engage our senses and promote overall health and well-being. A few of the different modalities include yoga, grounding practices, creative curatives (crafts or artistic creations), journaling, prayer, meditation, group discussions, and much more.
